The Dutch Floorball and Unihockey Association (NeFUB) has existed since 1999 and aims to offer floorball to players in the Netherlands, both competitively and recreationally. The main goal of a competition coordinator is to organize the Dutch senior competitions and cup tournaments. In collaboration with the NeFUB board and other committees, you work on achieving a good balance in competitions, taxes on associations and you think about options to increase participation in competitions and tournaments. All tasks are done online, think of email/whatsapp, but it can be good to show up yourself on match days, so that you can hear and experience what is going on. That you really experience what the sport is and what can help improve and support the organization. A member of the competition committee is accountable to a NeFUB director and acts in line with the regulations of the NeFUB. He has the following tasks: - Drawing up schedules (competition and room schedule). - Entering the competitions in the NeFUB portal. - Informing teams about schedule changes. - Moving competitions in collaboration with the teams and volunteers involved - Dealing with emergencies during the season, together with the agency and/or manager on duty. - Collaboration with Youth Competition Committee(s), Referee Committee, Transfer & License Committee and NeFUB agency for the development of Floorball Competition(s) and in the context of matches and competitions to be played Knowledge and skills required for the position: - Socially capable. - Communicative - Organizational qualities. - Ambitions with sports (slight preference for floorball). A volunteer allowance is available for this position, in accordance with the NeFUB declaration regulations
